See below details of our creative writing workshops for different age-groups with three fantastic homegrown writers:

Creative Writing (adults) with Gráinne Tobin

Poet and translator Gráinne Tobin was born in Armagh in 1951 and lives in Newcastle, Co Down. She taught in Shimna Integrated College in Newcastle. She has published two collections: Banjaxed (Summer Palace Press, 2001) and The Nervous Flyer’s Companion (Summer Palace Press, 2010). £15 | 11am-3pm

Creative Writing (teenagers) with Sheena Wilkinson

Sheena Wilkinson writes contemporary realistic ction for children and young adults. Since the publication of her rst novel, the multi-award- winning Taking Flight, she has been established as one of Ireland’s most acclaimed writers for children and teenagers. Sheena lives in County Down, and travels extensively in Ireland and beyond, talking about books and writing. £10 | 11am-3pm

Creative Writing (children) with Pauline Burgess

Pauline Burgess was born in Rostrevor, County Down. Pauline offers this workshop for primary school children, having written stories her entire life – many about horses. Pauline writes for children and adults, but her heart lies in children’s literature. A High School teacher, this workshop is perfect for little storytellers. £5 | 11am-12pm
